to flock or not to flock

seems like a lot of people are flocking furniture now a days,

and although i am usually not attracted to the process because

it reminds me of old ornaments and blow up furniture,

i am reallyyy loving johnny egg's current flocked line available at heals.

i am not a huge orange fan, but i know someone who is

and this flocked orange chair from english eccentrics is AMAZING!

it comes in a variety of colors and seriously blows me away.

what a great way to add color to a room, especially

from a piece that is usually so serious.

on a side note, it is really easy to make flocked items

look cheap, an easy way to avoid that is to make

that piece a focal point or the only piece of color in the area.
