C is for Cherner

Norman Cherner

An American designer born in 1920, Cherner's iconic armchair was only available to museums and collectors for most of 20 years until 1999 when sons created the Cherner Chair company to the joy of chair zealots everywhere.
Famous for his pioneering work with molded plywood.
